The Thoughts

"Remember them that are in bonds as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body." Hebrews 13:3 We have a Christian duty to remember our brothers who are suffering. We each know one of His children who might be afflicted or going through a trial.  We also are aware that some of our brothers and sisters in other countries are being persecuted. Pray for them, do good to them, and obey when God leads you to do something to bless one of His own.

"If thou wouldst believe, thou shouldst see the glory of God." St. John 11:40  When God says he will do something, he will do it.  If we believe in him, we have the opportunity to see his glory manifested down here.

All things point to Christ. That is why we have so many prophesies looking forward to Christ Jesus, and also why we should now be living a life that refers back to His life and sacrifice. A Christ-like life is just as important and glorifying to God as the ancient prophesies.  5/3/12

"And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee." Psalms 9:10  Keep on trusting; because we know, if we trust him, he cannot fail us. 4/12/12

If you want someone to know you care, take time to talk to them. 3/26/12

"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy."(Matthew 5:7) I sometimes hope that others will have mercy on me and forgive a fault or be generously fill a need. It is then that I have to stop and ask myself if I have been merciful to others. 3/2/12

Psalms 27:4 "One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple."

Isaiah 6:5&8  "Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts...Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me."
The glory of God made Isaiah both humble and willing. He saw his humanity, yet he answered to the call of God.
