I Smile

I smile because it’s summer.

I smile because the children laugh.

I smile because God made such a beautiful moth.

I smile because I’m with friends.

I smile because I have dreams.

I smile because the singing is beautiful and the words touch my heart.

I smile because I am not alone.

I smile because I love the sky.

I smile because the creek sounds so happy.

I smile because there are others that also rejoice in the truth.

I smile because I feel God’s love.

I smile because a friend is happy.

I smile because I live.

Mini-thoughts:

"Remember them that are in bonds as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body." Hebrews 13:3 We have a Christian duty to remember our brothers who are suffering. We each know one of His children who might be afflicted or going through a trial. We also are aware that some of our brothers and sisters in other countries are being persecuted. Pray for them, do good to them, and obey when God leads you to do something to bless one of His own.

"If thou wouldst believe, thou shouldst see the glory of God." St. John 11:40 When God says he will do something, he will do it. If we believe in him, we have the opportunity to see his glory manifested down here.
